Christine Jackson Foodstylist

I began styling with photographer, Gerald Bybee. I assisted food stylist Judy Peck Prindle (LA, CA) for a couple of years as well as two other food stylists. I learned much from these mentors and from working as a food stylist for over 3 decades now. When I started it was a lot of large format film and polaroids, now we are in the digital age.

The past 10 years I have been one of two food stylists that work on the Costco Cook book they produce and give out at their warehouses on black Friday. This is one of my favorite gigs. I have also provided some recipe development services for Costco.

I’ve worked with Northwest restaurant chefs presenting their cuisine as well as doing fast food for menu boards. I’ve done packaging shoots and billboards, food for magazine articles and black and white newspaper columns. film and video shoots are another part of my experience. I’ve done TV commercials and infomercials.
It’s been my privilege to work with food network star Melissa D’Arabian and Chef Richard Blaise for TV appearances and infomercials.

I’ve also done work for cookware such as Chef’n, Sous Vide Supreme, and Rena Ware. I’ve worked on catalogue shots for Sur la table and Harry & David.

A number of years ago I had the opportunity to work/donate my services for the production of a cook book, STAR Palate, which raised funds for cancer research.

I’ve styled food for several airlines on Boeing produced planes. Below is a snapshot I took one day of breakfast service on Egypt Air.

Let’s talk about what I can do for you and your clients. I’d love to chat.
